”American Idol” winner Kris Allen, 23, has signed a record deal with Jive Records, Usmagazine.com reports. The album will reportedly be released this fall.
“As exciting as the last few months have been, I’m really looking forward to what is next,” Allen says in a statement. “It [the record] will be very similar to what you heard from me on the show – definitely in the pop/rock genre. I can’t wait to get started!”
Allen is also part of the upcoming Idol Summer Tour, which starts July 15 in Portland, OR.
