Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Are Engaged

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are getting married.

How the Proposal Went

The 45-year-old blink-182 drummer proposed to the 42-year-old reality star at sunset on Sunday (October 17) in Montecito, California.

According to eyewitnesses, Travis proposed to Kourtney at the beach outside of the Rosewood Miramar Hotel, with Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson present.

“Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart,” an eyewitness shared with E! News. “It looked very romantic. I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth looking surprised. The family cheered for them and went back into the hotel.”

Kourtney also confirmed their engagement, sharing a few photos on Instagram from the proposal, along with the caption, “forever @travisbarker.”

Kardashian’s sisters welcomed the news, with Kim Kardashian posting engagement ring emojis beneath the post. She also took to Twitter to post a video of the couple, captioned “KRAVIS FOREVER.”

Warm Welcome to the Family

The couple Travis first went public with their relationship back in January 2021 after being friends and neighbors for years.

Kourtney shares three kids – sons Mason, 11, and Reign, 6, and daughter Penelope, 9 – with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

Travis is dad to daughter Alabama, 15, and son Landon, 18, whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

Kourtney and Travis celebrated their engagement with a dinner inside of the hotel.

His daughter Alabama shared a cute photo of the newly engaged couple, giving fans a glimpse at Kourtney‘s engagement ring!

“So happy for you guys I love you both!” Alabama wrote on her Instagram Story, while Bruno Mars‘ song “Marry You” plays in the background.

She apparently thinks positively of the relationship. When Alabama played a game of “Never Have I Ever” she was asked about her dad’s relationship with Kourtney. Alabama then referred to Kourtney as “my stepmom.”
