When you are worth an estimated £14million buying a new home for £200,000 is like going to the corner shop to buy a pint of milk and loaf of bread. Well that is exactly what One Direction star Zayn Malik has done, but the house is not for him, it is for his fiancée’s Mum. Now that’s the way to get into the good books of your potential Mother-in-Law is it not!
Zayn, 21, is engaged to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, 20, and he has bought a £200,000 house in Dorset for Perrie’s Mum Debbie. A source revealed all by saying, “Debbie has been saying how she’s got a new house. Perrie was going to get the mortgage for her and then Zayn offered to buy it outright. She is just moving stuff in now. It costs more than £200,000 and is a new build.”
The source also said, “He’s a really nice chap for buying the house. It’s a lovely gesture ahead of their wedding. He gets on really well with her family.”
Good on Zayn for footing the bill, though £200,000 is small change to someone like him, though it does mean his Mother-in-law to be can say she has the perfect Son-in-law.
