While we do believe that some words are racist and can be hurtful, don’t you think all of the hype has gone just a TAD too far..Here’s one thats over the top by FAR. According to TMZ.com,
The woman who chose to sue Miley Cyrus, claiming she defamed 1,000,000 Asian Pacific Islanders in L.A. County by taking a picture while drawing her eyes back to resemble the actual eyes of the Asians… chose to seek out favor with the judge… by calling him a racist.
Apparently thats just what Lucie Kim and her erstwhile but less than brilliant attorney have done. Henry Lee (not the OJ Simpson forensics guy)) claims the judge stepped over some imaginary line that they drew for all of the Asian’s in the world. The judge apparently in his ignorance about not BEING Asian, repeatedly referring to Asians as “oriental.”
They say the word “oriental” is “an offensive, derogatory racial insult to persons of Asians descent … akin to using the word N—er.
The world seems to have become a place where words mean far more than actions.. particularly to idiots like this one.
Kim and Lee want Judge Robert Hess to remove himself from the case. Well we can’t have anyone who might be even remotely foolish about the meaningless tags people want helping us to sue a child and rip off her money over a meaningless gesture. ** yes.. there was an eye roll associated with that comment.
