A judge has sentenced actor Wesley Snipes to three years in prison for tax evasion.

Wesley was convicted in February for not filing his taxes, but while Uncle Sam said that he owed $2.7 million the actors’ attorneys claimed that it was only about $225,000.

During this whole ordeal, prosecutors argued that Snipes should be made an example of because of his fame – and we guess the judge did just that!
