As unimpressed as we usually are with Walmart, you’ve got to admit the retail giant is stepping up in a big way after the recent Haiti devastation.
Walmart announced today that they will be giving a $500,000 monetary donation to the Red Cross to aid in the Haiti relief efforts. In addition, Walmart is sending $100,000 worth of “pre-packaged food kits.” If you want to help them, Walmart has set up a Web site to direct donations to the Red Cross.
