”Lord of the Rings” star Viggo Mortensen says he might quit the movie business for good…
Mortensen recently told Britain’s The Times newspaper that his exhausting promotional schedule for each new movie is leaving him crushed and that he is thinking of quitting the industry.
“In the past week I’ve been from LA to Japan to Korea to Poland to here [London]. It’s ridiculous! It’s not a healthy way to be. But, as it happens, I’m taking measures to change that… I haven’t said yes to one [movie] in over a year. I’ve been in all these well-received movies and it seems like I should be doing some more, but there’s other things I want to do. It’s not the right time… If it all dries up now, I’ve had a good run,” the 50-year-old actor is quoted as saying.
