Vanessa Williams has now revealed that when she was just ten years old she was sexually abuse by an 18 year old woman when she went on a family trip with a friend. She is stating that this is one of the main reasons why she was “highly sexualized” at an extremely young age.
She has just released her new book, “You Have No Idea” and it tells a lot of things that you never of would have guessed about her.
Recently she reported to Nightline that the incident took place when the woman asked her to, “come over here”. At the time she did not know what took place was wrong but at the same time she felt it was not right because it was supposed to be a secret. She continues to say that this made her become highly sexualized because she was just a fifth grader when it took place. Also, she stated that it felt good so she felt as though it was normal. However, as she grew older she learned that it was not normal for a ten year old to be seduced.
The book also discusses how she had an abortion while she was in high school but didn’t tell anyone – not even her mother.
