Why would two well known celebrities want to take up Ballroom Dancing? Perhaps there is a wedding on the cards and they are getting in some practice for the first dance maybe? It could be that they have just signed lucrative contracts to appear on Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing With The Stars? Whatever the reason maybe this is exactly what Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have done.
Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 23, have only recently got back together and now it seems the pair are taking their relationship a little more seriously. Kristen has been wanting to take up dancing for a while according to a close friend of hers, and has finally convinced Robert to dance as well.
A friend of Kristen Stewart’s told The Daily Star that the pair were having fun, but Robert is a terrible dancer. They said, “Rob is the first to admit he’s a terrible dancer. But Kristen has been trying for ages to persuade him to have lessons with her and he’s finally caved in. The pair have already had a couple of lessons with a private instructor and have been practising their moves at Kristen’s mum’s house in Malibu, California, where they are currently staying. They’re having a lot of fun so far.”
So not only have they taken up Ballroom Dancing there are having private lessons as well. There has got to be more to it than that surely. They are reportedly looking to buy a house together and at the beginning of the month Pattinson bought Kristen a £30,000 pen for her birthday. Maybe it will be an engagement ring next and the dancing lessons are in readiness for their ‘first dance’ at their reception!
