According to msnbc, the grizzly bear that appeared in the Will Ferrell movie “Semi Pro” killed his trainer Tuesday afternoon during a training exercise in the San Bernardino Mountains, California.

The trainer, 39-year-old Stephan Miller, was wrestling with the bear when the huge animal suddenly attacked him.

The 5-year-old grizzly named Rocky was subdued with pepper spray and returned to his cage.

California Department of Fish and Game officials are now investigating the attack.
