It is nearly four weeks ago that Peaches Geldof was found dead at her family home, and today the results of the toxicology reports will be made public for the first time, and according to the Times Newspaper Peaches Geldof died as a result of a heroin overdose.
The results of the toxicology reports will be made public by Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fotheringham later this afternoon and when the police were asked to comment on the results a spokesperson said, “The inquest opens later today and that is all I can say.”
An article in this mornings edition of The Times Newspaper says, “Toxicology reports at her inquest will confirm her death was as a result of the drugs overdose. Police discovered no evidence of drugs paraphernalia in the house, leading to speculation that items may have been removed before the property was searched.”
The news is sure to come as a damaging blow to Peaches father Bob, and it will be interesting to see what happens regarding the speculation that certain drug items were removed from the house, but whatever happens it will not bring Peaches Geldof back to her family in what is yet another tragic loss of life.
