Tom Cruise was met by a group of anti Scientology demonstrators at the L.A. premiere of his World War II movie “Valkyrie”, Thursday.
One apparently very upset protester shouted: “Tom cruise takes the millions of dollars that he gets from making these crappy movies and he gives them to the cult of Scientology. Scientology then takes that money and uses it to hurt people like us.”
The protesters were also holding up signs that read such things as “Religion is Free, Scientology is Not.”
What he does with his own money is his business… Let him give it all away if he wants too!
The simple truth is that someone is always going to whimper about someone elses faith. I personally would be interested in HOW scientology directly injured them.
For the most part,the protesters are quite likely disgruntled Christians who shout “discrimination” when you protest their behavior, but who are certainly somewhat less than open minded about those who practice an alternative religion.
I frankly don’t see why, if it doesn’t harm anyone,that we don’t leave peoples choice of what “God” is or is not..to the person involved.
I Feel Bad For Tom Because He Had A Cruddy Childhood With His Dad And The Only Reason He Joined Scientology Is Because He Thought It Would Help Himforget His Hurtful Mnemories&b A Betr Person But It Brainwashd Him Turnd Him Crazy& The Protestors Have A Good Reason To Protest It But They Shouldnt Do It To Him They Should Go To The Church &try To Save Him&family Cause I Thnk It Makes Him Feel Like Hes An Awful Person
