It was supposed to be the wedding of the year, but sadly Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have called off their engagement, in what is apparently an “amicable spilt”.
Earlier today a statement issued by a representative of Kelly was issued to US Weekly Magazine. It read, “Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart have decided to end their engagement. The split is amicable and the pair continue to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don’t expect it.”
The news will have as a big shock to many today, especially Kelly’s Mum Sharon who was acting as the couples wedding planner. In October she spoke about the wedding and said, “It’s going to be very English and very Victorian at our house in England. She loves him and he loves her, and I love the fact that he truly loves my daughter and makes her happy and that makes me happy.”
Yesterday Kelly posted the following message on her Twitter account, a message that hinted maybe things were not quite right. She tweeted, “Its all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren’t really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!”
Make of that statement what you will, but clearly everything was not right with Kelly Osbourne and Matthew Mosshart, and has not been for some time.
