The Duchess of York , after showing Turkish children in orphanages tied to beds, faces a grilling by Interpol over a TV show she made exposing neglect in those same Turkish orphanages.
According to the Sun, the authorities in Turkey are ticked off that she went undercover to show disabled children left tied to their beds.
Fergie apparently wore a black wig and scarf when she visited the Saray orphanage near the Turkish capital of Ankara for the ITV1 Tonight show.The orphanage she visited is home to more than 700 children
According to Sun, “The Turks say she and daughter Princess Eugenie, 18, who also fronted the show, broke privacy laws — and complained to the international police.”
So wait.. let us get this one straight. THEY are tying children to beds and leaving them, and SHE is the bad guy? How does that WORK?
Minister Nimet Cubukcu said: “It is very clear that Mrs Sarah Ferguson has bad intentions. She is obviously in a campaign to blacken Turkey’s name.”
Well color us nuts, but I don’t think, in a country that permits an orphanage to tie kids up, they really require any assistance to “blacken” their name.
