William Balfour, the only suspect named in the slayings of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, has not yet been charged with the tree murders. Instead, authorities have kept him behind bars on parole violation charges (unrelated to the murders).
His parole hearing is scheduled to be held on Monday, but if the Illinois State Prisoner Review Board decides there is not enough evidence that he violated the terms of his parole, he could be released after the hearing, according to tmz.com
Police have not yet charged Balfour with a crime, but they have, according to some online reports, found pieces of information that tie him to the crime scene.
