A-list actress Jennifer Lawrence confirmed her engagement to art gallery director Cooke Maroney after she was spotted wearing a huge diamond ring on a date in New York during the weekend.

The news broke at Page Six and various sources saw Lawrence with a ring on her finger while at SoHo hotspot Raoul’s.
“It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it.
The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots,” a source revealed. Shortly after the rumors appeared, Jennifer’s representative confirmed the news.
Jennifer was first spotted with the 34-year-old Maroney back in June 2018.
The two were believed to have been introduced by Jennifer’s best friend Laura Simpson and the relationship soon blossomed. The pair tried to keep their romance under wraps but they have been photographed several times since then.
Two professionals to Tie the Knot
Maroney highly successful as the director of New York’s Gladstone art gallery, which represents high profile clients including Anish Kapoor, Matthew Barney, and Lena Dunham’s father, Caroll Dunham.
The 28-year-old actress is known for starring in films such as Hunger Games, Red Sparrow, Joy and 2012’s Silver Linings Playbook, for which she won the Best Actress Oscar.Jennifer previously dated director Darren Aronofsky, actor Nicholas Hoult and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and all those relationships were high profile so she kept this as far as she could from the public eye.
Jennifer has made no secret of her desire to tie the knot, and told that in a Vogue interview in 2015.
“I can’t wait to be married. I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f*** it up. But I’m also not banking on that.”
On other occasion she commented her recent breakup and said she doesn’t feel that she needs anything to complete her.
“I love meeting people, men, women, whatever, I love people coming into your life and bringing something.”
It seems like she has met the one that completes her and fulfills her life. Congrats to the lucky couple. We can’t wait the wedding date to be announced.
