Stars Lose a Bundle

Zsa Zsa Gabor  in her nineties(pictured here as she looks currently and as she did when she was  younger and more famous) has reportedly lost as much as ten million but at least $7 million as a result of making some bad investments with accused financial swindler Bernard Madoff, her lawyer announced on Saturday.

“We are making an assessment of the full extent of the losses,” the lawyer Chris Fields said. “We aren’t doing anything yet but we’re meeting with accountants to find out where everything leads.”

Zsa Zsa Gabor’s lawyer says the actress lost between $7-10 million dollars in bad investments with Bernard Madoff.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, another Hollywood power couple aren’t saying how much they lost in the scheme, but they do seem to be  keeping things in perspective. “We’ll march on. We have to,” the actor told Life & Style magazine last month. “There’s nothing you can do about it. You can’t change what happened. Things could be worse. You remember that, and you go on with your life.”

Author Alexandra Penney, who is known for her 1982 book “How to Make Love to a Man” says she lost her life savings..

Steven Spielberg‘s Wunderkinder Foundation has also taken a hit .. Reportedly in 2006,  director Steven Spielberg’s charity foundation had roughly 70 percent of its funds invested with Madoff’s company as reported by the  Wall Street Journal.

Rene-Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet, an esteemed financier, was found dead in his office Tuesday , apparently a victim of suicide. The Financial wizard and hedge fund chief had purportedly lost more than a billion dollars belonging to his clients in Madoff’s scheme.

Madoff, who is 70,stands  accused of running a worldwide fraud that authorities say may have cost investors $50 billion
