The case against Drew Peterson, the ex-cop, currently awaiting trial for the murder of his 3rd wife, Stacy Peterson, may just have gotten a whole lot stronger. A jail house informant claims that Peterson confessed to murdering his wife, offering up details regarding how he killed his ex-wife and disposed of her body. According to the informant, Drew and an accomplice placed his wife’s, Stacy’s body in a metal drum and buried it on private hunting grounds.
The informant was able to identify the accomplice. Upon receiving this information the police picked up the accomplice, who would eventually lead police to the site where the body had been dumped, apparently outside of Peoria, Illinois. Once the police reached the site, along with the accomplice, the police dog immediately made its way to where the body had allegedly been buried. The police immediately marked off the spot for evacuation purposes and began digging.
If the police find the body, this will surely secure the state’s case against Peterson. Perhaps justice will finally be done.
