Springsteen and Walmart Are Not Making Beautiful Music Together

Bruce Springsteen has reportedly said that it was a “mistake” to exclusively release his greatest hits  LP solely  through Wal-Mart.

The legendary rocker told the New York Times that he would have released the album differently if he had given it more thought. “Our batting average is usually very good, but we missed that one,” he said.

His admission came after some fans claimed that Wal-Mart’s labor practices went against Springsteen’s strong principles.

“We were in the middle of doing a lot of things, it kind of came down and, really, we didn’t vet it the way we usually do. It was something that if we’d thought about it a little longer, we’d have done something different. Fans will call you on that stuff, as it should be,” he said.

Wal-Mart said in a statement that it was “proud” of the careers and job opportunities it offers to more than one million Americans.
