British actress/model Lucy Gordon, who played reporter Jennifer Dugan in “Spider-man 3”, committed suicide Wednesday – just two days before her 29th birthday, Britain’s Daily Mail reports.

Police reportedly found Gordon’s body suspended from the ceiling of her Paris apartment.

“It was a horrific scene,” one police officer is quoted as saying by the tabloid. “The young woman had taken her own life in terrible circumstances. We are not seeking anyone else. It was a clear case of suicide.”
