New York Daily News says that Britney Spears has given a private performance ahead of the tour, with the singer performing around 20 tracks for friends and relatives to prepare for ‘The Circus: Starring Britney Spears’, which kicks off tonight.
“Britney was really tense up until the show,” revealed an insider. “But she got such positive feedback that she’s a lot more confident about her performance.”
She was joined in New Orleans by her parents, younger sister Jamie Lynn, sons Sean Preston and Jayden James and niece Maddie.
“They’re really rooting for Britney and wanted to make the evening all about her,” said the source, adding that fans could be treated to a special surprise at upcoming shows.
“The rumour going around is that Madonna is going to join Brit on stage for at least two tour dates. And that would be totally fierce.”
