When you are worth an estimated $425million you can buy whatever you want, and that is exactly what Simon Cowell has done as he has spent $650,000 on a Eagle Speedster car.
Simon Cowell saw is known for his love of cars and he already has a Caterham Sportscar and Bugatti Veryon in his collection, and he recently saw the Eagle Speedster, of which there are just three worldwide, on the UK TV show Top Gear. Paul Brace is the Technical Director at Eagle had this to say regarding the car. “Simon got in touch after seeing it on ‘Top Gear’. It is one of three, is hand built and we’re delighted Simon has the car. He was over the moon when he saw it and we’re looking forward to delivering it to him in the US where he can enjoy it in the sunshine.”
Cowell wasted no time in showing the car off to his Twitter followers as he tweeted a picture of his new pride and joy. He said, “I think this may be the most beautiful car in the world. It’s made by Eagle. Thank you Henry, Paul and the team.”
The vast majority of us will not even own a $650,000 house let alone a car worth the same amount of money, but when you have as much money as Simon Cowell £650,000 is probably the same as a couple of hours pay!
