Michael Sheen confessed this week that he secretly tailed Sir David Frost as preparation for his role in the forthcoming Frost/Nixon.
Sheen, who plays Frost in the movie adaptation of the play by the same name said he did it because he was determined to nail the journalist’s mannerisms.
“I just followed him. That sounds a bit creepy, doesn’t it? I took photographs of the back of his head. I wanted to watch how he walked and then I took a picture to get his stance. It is a bit weird,” he told WENN.
Frost/Nixon, directed by Ron Howard, offers up the post-Watergate television interviews between Frost and former US President Richard Nixon (Frank Langella) in 1977.
Secretly following.. isn’t that a lot like stalking?
