Last month former Australian cricketer Shane Warne strongly denied rumours that he was dating Playboy model Emily Scott, but after several public appearances he has now confirmed that he and Emily are in fact a couple.
During June Warne, 44, and Scott, 30, were seen at an event in Sydney looking very friendly, and they were also seen out and about in Paris on a couple of occasions too, but despite this Warne still denied he was dating Scott as he posted the following on his Twitter account. He said, “Wow, 8 years of friendship, a full moon party & attending a mates 50th turns into us dating? What’s next, down on a knee. We’re good friends. Both single and intent to keep it that way, end of story. If and when I’m ever in a relationship, I will let you know!! (sic).”
Warne has now well and truly back tracked on those comments as on Wednesday he said, again on his Twitter account, “On the way to watch Aussie gun Nick Kyrgios at #Wimbledon! Go on you good thing, take it down & keep killing it!! PS And yes I’m taking my girlfriend @EmilyLScott who’s looking smoking hot too hahaha !!! (sic).”
So Shane Warne and Emily Scott are officially dating, and good luck to them we say!
