Reports have confirmed that Sean “Diddy” Combs was involved in a car accident right outside the Beverly Hills Hotel. The 42-year old rapper was a passenger in an SUV that was hit by another car in front of the hotel on Sunset Boulevard.
Beverly Hills police officer Lt. Lincoln Hoshino has confirmed the news. Diddy was in a Cadillac Escalade that traveling westbound when an eastbound Lexus sedan collided with the SUV. The sedan attempted to make a left turn, but hit the SUV instead.
No citations were issued for either parties, but Combs and other passengers have all complained of pain in various body parts. However, no one needed to be brought to the hospital and Combs had said that he would seek his own medical attention.
The car was completely another story as it was not as lucky as the passengers. In a photo obtained by the press, the hood of the SUV was completely smashed following the collision. A photo of Combs lying on grass after the incident was also obtained by the press.
Combs’ publicist was not able to give a comment on the incident right away. There was also no mention of the rapper’s road mishap on his Twitter account. The most recent tweet from the rapper was of a photo with the view taken from a Skyrise.
