Say Hello to Royal Baby No.3

On Monday 23 April, the Royal family welcomed Prince William and Kate Middleton’s son but royal fans still enjoy the anticipation of a baby’s name.

Third Time is a Charm

Kate Middleton and Prince William have an adorable family with Prince George and Princess Charlotte and now, their family grew for a baby boy weighing 8lbs 7 oz.

Duchess of Cambridge arrived at St. Mary’s Hospital on Monday morning and just a few hours later, the official Kensington Palace Twitter confirmed that Kate successfully delivered a boy, stating the both are healthy and feeling well.

Kate welcomed George, 4 and Charlotte, 2, in the same hospital in 2013 and 2015. St. Mary’s Hospital has a special meaning for William since he is the first member of royal British family to ever be born in a hospital.

Just a few hours later, the happy parents took the baby outside for a photo op on the clinic’s steps. Kate, of course, looked chic as always in a red dress with a lace collar.  Before this formal introduction, William, who was present t the birth, left the hospital to pick up the elder children and the happy family then smiled and waved to photographers.

The third baby is fifth in line for the throne, after his grandfather Prince Charles, father William, brother Prince George and sister Princess Charlotte, but that didn’t stop the royal family fans to camp outside the hospital for days and even weeks in order to be among the first to see the baby.

The Baby Name

The name of the baby is yet to be revealed and what we know for now is that Kate and William love to recycle monikers and pay homage to their predecessors.

At the Bookmakers the strongest candidates so far are Arthur at 2-1, James at 4-1, Albert at 5-1 and Philip at 6-1.

Then comes Henry, Alexander, Thomas, Edward and Frederick at William Hill. Ladbrokes and Coral offer slightly different odds but the same names are on the list. We’ll simply have to wait and see if the happy parents will surprise us. The name is about to be announced any time now.
