The Jolie Pitt’s are not happy with News of the World, the paper that broke the alleged story that they were splitting up and had contracted with a high priced team of legal eagles to help them work their way through it. According to reports today, the Jolie Pitts have no intention of splitting anything except what they win in this court case. They originally wanted an apology and a retraction but apparently didn’t get that, so the stakes just got higher.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not splitting up, according to a statement from their lawyer.
Reports said Pitt and Jolie had signed a multi-million separation deal, agreeing to share assets and custody.
They began legal proceedings against the News of the World this week.
Keith Schilling of London attorney group told Sky News: “The News of the World has failed to meet our clients’ reasonable demands for a retraction of and apology for these false and intrusive allegations which have now been widely republished by mainstream news outlets.
“We have advised them to bring proceedings which they have now done.”
Pitt and Jolie, who have three adopted and three biological children, are still unmarried.
