Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, who was arrested in the shooting death of actor Mark Ruffalo’s younger brother, Scott Ruffalo, has been released from jail, Yahoo! News reports.
Adham, who turned herself in on an attempted murder arrest warrant Monday, was released yesterday after Adham’s attorney presented evidence to the detectives that proved that she did not shoot Scott Ruffalo.
Adham became a suspect after going to Ruffalo’s home the night he was murdered.
“A series of wrong decisions starting with her not staying at the scene of the shooting caused an incredible chain reaction of stupidity and bad luck,” her attorney has been quoted as saying.
Adham’s friend Brian Burton Scofield, who was “a person of interest” in the case, was released Monday – the same day he turned himself in for questioning.
