Robert Downey Jr. to play Sherlock Holmes

Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. will play the lead in the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie, which Madonna’s husband (at least for now, anyway) Guy Ritchie plans to direct.
The movie will be released in 2010.
