Rihanna will not press charges against Chris Brown for alleged assault, according to police reports.
Still it seems that the singer’s original statement and witness accounts will be handed to the Los Angeles County District Attorney later this week, but its not currently known if thts going to give them enough to prosecute him without Rihanna’s testimony.California law allows prosecutors to take action in domestic violence cases even if the couple reunite.
Photos, post attack of Rihanna with bruises on her eyes, nose and cheeks surfaced on American websites last month.
Brown and Rihanna reportedly got back together at the rapper Sean Combs’s Miami home at the weekend. The first pictures of the couple back together may fetch £60,000, according to paparazzi agencies.
Fans of Rihanna hve since then launched the website dontdoitrihanna.com, pleading with the singer not to forgive Brown.
Whats a gorgeous singer see in a guy who beats her? The age old eternal question isn’t it..? Why on earth, what could possibly possess someone who is beaten according to al accounts, quite badly, so that they don’t want to press charges against their abuser..
Here’s the thing lady.. Get your courage screwed around and your head wired on straight.. things like this don’t get better.. consider the message you’re sending to all those little kids out there who look up to you as a role model.
If in fact we saw some real remorse, heard a public apology, saw him donate some time or energy to womens resources as part of what he’s done.. we’d be feeling a little better about you not pressing charges ..so far, what we’ve seen and heard is a statement from the little boys daddy telling us there are two sides to every story.. not exactly a sobbing apology.
What does the future hold for Rihanna and Brown.. we are having visions of.. more bruises. Let’s at least hope if it happens again, she leaves Brown with a few marks of his own.
