Does Angelina make winners? Quite often when she signs on the dotted line for a movie, it becomes a hot commodity. But does the same thing hold true for politics? Apparently the politicians think so.
Access Hollywood reported just an hour ago that Jolie is apparently being courted by both Obama and Mccain in their bid for the oval office.
She does certainly get as much press coverage as either of the aforementioned political giants, however that aside, we certainly have high hopes that American aren’t going to vote for a candidate based on the fact that “Angelina likes him”.
For her part, Angelina hasn’t given the official nod to either candidate. She had this to say in Variety magazine when questioned about her political leanings. “I have not decided on a candidate.”
“I am waiting to see the commitments they will make on issues like international justice, refugees and how to address the needs of children in crisis around the world.”
UN Goodwill Ambassador she may be, but can she swing the vote and help get the next president elected? It appears that they are banking on it.
What’s your take? Will you vote for someone based on Angelina’s recommendation?
