Police chief Barry Carpenter does admit that he recently met with a reporter… from The National Enquirer, according to reports.

The Martins Ferry officer and Ohio police chief Chad DoJack , who did recently “allegedly” broke into the home of the woman carrying Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s unborn twins.

Carpenter and DoJack are currently under investigation with the claims being that they attempted to uncover information about the surrogate to sell to the tabloids.

Carpenter has stated that he only met with a journalist from the publication to “mess with him and jerk him around,” says Contact Music
