Music producer Phil Spector was sentenced to 19 years in prison yesterday for the murder of B-movie actress Lana Clarkson, the Associated Press reports.
The 69-year-old producer was found guilty last month of shooting Clarkson in his Los Angeles home in 2003. That was the second trail against Spector since Clarkson was killed. During the first trial in 2007, the jury wasn’t able to reach a verdict.
Spector must serve at least 19 years in prison before being eligible for parole – he will then be 88 years old!
