The 57-year-old former Genesis singer has finally decided to throw in the towel.

Phil Collins has been active in the music industry for more than 3 decades and has had great hits like “In the Air Tonight”, “Another Day in Paradise”, A Groovy Kind of Love”, and “Against All Odds” just to name a few.

WENN reports that Collins won’t tour or release anymore albums, instead he now wants to take on a more behind-the-scenes role and just write songs.
