It is verified after several speculation, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are now parents.
A representative of Penelope confirmed that Javier and Penelope welcomed their first baby boy into their family last week. Both the baby and parents are doing well.
Earlier this week, various Spanish publications – El Pais newspaper and Hola! Magazine reported that the Oscar winner gave birth to the couple’s first baby in Los Angeles, with variations of the birth date, one said the birth happened last Saturday, and the other said it happened last Tuesday.
Last September of previous year, Penelope’s Spanish PR agency verified that the couple was looking forward for their first child together. After a short while, Javier confirmed the news.
Reports of Penelope’s pregnancy hovered over the air last summer after a photo of the Spanish bombshell on the set of the recent “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie revealing a fuller waistline.
The extremely private couple had their marriage in a small Bahamian ceremony last July.
