Amongst a mob of frenzied fans, Rob Pattinson collided with a taxi while he was on the streets of downtown Manhattan today.
The actor, star of the emerging cult classic, Twilight, was visiting in New York City filming Remember Me, when he apparently tried to run across the street near the Strand bookstore to get away from insistent fans. When he did so, he was clipped on his hip by a moving cab, whose driver slammed on the brakes on impact.
Pattinson, 23, didn’t seem to be hurt and walked away from the accident.
As they say in the movies, “Ain’t no crocs in NYC but a fast moving taxi can mess you up”
