One Slumdog Star No Longer a Street Kid

One of the child stars  who resided in demolished homes, the kids of Slumdog Millionaire whas been bought a new home by the film’s producers.

A 250 square foot one-bedroom apartment valued at $50,000 was purchases this weekfor the family of Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, Access Hollywood reported.

The child star gets full ownership of the residence when he turns 18, provided that he finishes school.

“He has to complete an education. We are very clear about that,” a spokesman for the trust said.

According to Digital Spy, both he and his co-star, nine-year-old Rubina Ali both lost their homes last month when city authorities cleared out a slum dwelling which they both lived in.

The trust added that they are “actively looking” for a new home for Ali.

    One of the Slumdog stars was recently detained at an airport here in the U.S. He stated that he’d be curtailing his trips to the United States due to the embarrasment.
