Two police officers have been placed on paid leave as a result of the investigation into a leaked photo of Rihanna.
The picture, showing the injuries the singer faced when Chris Brown assaulted her, was given to the press shortly after the incident.
According to E! Online, Rebecca M. Reyes and Bianca Lopez have been “assigned to home” until the investigation is over.
An LAPD spokesperson said: “It’s a pending investigation. We can’t comment on that right now.”
However, Reyes’s lawyer Ira Salzman said: “My client did not do anything for financial gain. She did not sell the photo.”
Sounds the like the officers may get more punishment for leaking the photo than Brown got for bashing Rihanna’s face.. Guess justice, like other things, moves in mysterious ways.
