Octomom has recently left her 14 kids as she checked herself into rehab. Nadya Suleman has sought help to treat a prescription drug problem. She will have to leave her kids for the 30 days that she has to stay in the rehab facility.
Suleman’s representative told TMZ that she had checked herself into a facility in Southern California, the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center. She was admitted to the facility over the weekend for becoming dependent on anti-anxiety drug Xanax. Her dependence on the drug started when she had taken the drug to deal with stress.
Her representative said that she had wanted to get off the drug, which was prescribed by her doctor. Suleman needed help in dealing with stress, anxiety and exhaustion and so she consulted with a team of doctors to help her learn ways how she could deal with them. She had wanted to effectively deal with her issues to make sure that she can perform her role as a mother as best as she can.
The kids are left in the care of three nannies and two of Suleman’s friends. They will be helping out with all child care duties. Suleman also has one driver who would take the kids to and from school. Neither of her mother nor her father were contacted to watch over the kids while she is away.
