David Beckham has resigned from his role as the face of Pepsi after ten years, according to TMZ.com.
“I have nothing but good memories of my association with Pepsi. I’ve played a gladiator, a cowboy, a surfer, and worked alongside Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez as well as some of the biggest names in world football,” the 33-year-old soccer star says in a statement.
Hmmm… We wonder what he will miss the most – filming the commercials or the $3.5 million per year he supposedly got for being the soft drink’s pretty face???
