L.A. prosecutors have decided not to press charges against “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographer Alex Da Silva, who was arrested last week on suspicion of sexually assaulting four of his dance students, due to lack of evidence, TMZ.com reports.
The victims claim that the 41-year-old salsa dancer, who teaches at a number of dance studios in Los Angeles, lured them to his homes in Van Nuys and North Hollywood where he then raped them.
According to a district attorney spokesperson, the police need to investigate the whole matter further before any charges can be filed. The spokesperson also said that several new alleged victims have now come forward.
