The 29 year old singer’s rant on the hit show “American Idol” taped Tuesday went way beyond the borders of name calling as Nicki allegedly threatened Mariah Carey’s life, some sources connected to the production stated.
Sources stated that in the heat of the argument and confrontation, Nicki said, “If I had a gun I would shoot her.”
However, the alleged death threat was not caught on any video. However, there is a video that was released with an audio that caught Nicki Minaj saying “Off with your head! Off with your head!.” to Mariah Carey. The audio was about 11 seconds.
However, sources told us that “The statement [that Nicki made a death threat] is absolute rubbish. It’s absolutely not true in any way, shape or form.”
Mariah Carey also confronted the Super Bass Singer and asked if she had made any death threats and Nicki answered by saying absolutely not. Apparently, people around Mariah are trying to create a big issue and are giving her wrong info. Sources say.
