Looks like Neil Patrick Harris and long-time beau David Burtka will not only be having a champagne toast for the former’s nomination for the Emmy’s this month.
E! News exclusively confirmed that the handsome couple are about to become dads this October with the help of a surrogate. Not only are the two artists finally going to be parents, they are even expecting twins!
Burtka is a chef and actor who became quite well-known with his appearance in How I Met Your Mother. Harris, on the other hand, is an acclaimed multi-talented artist who currently holds three Emmy nominations including Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for his one episode participation in Glee.
The two was just last seen together this weekend after Harris has finished directing his production of Rent at Hollywood Bowl. Speculations about the couple wanting to expand their family started last year when Star reported that the two visited a surrogacy agency in L.A.
Now, Harris and Burtka are very proud to announce that they are expecting their bouncing bundles of joy this coming fall. Harris even tweeted about it saying that the both of them are excited and nervous at the same time with the arrival of their children. He also expressed his wish regarding the press respecting his privacy.
The two have been together for almost six years already and is still going steady especially now with the prospect of being finally able to build a family.
