Brittany Murphy’s husband said that prescription drugs found at the time of her death were his.
In an interview with People, Simon Monjack said that many of the medications discovered in the Hollywood Hills property were there for his own personal use.
They included Ativan, an anxiety medication, Vicoprofen, a painkiller, Fluoxetine, an antidepressant, Klonopin, a seizure medication, Methylprednisolone, an anti-inflammatory, and Carbamazepine, used to treat diabetes and also bipolar disorder.
Monjack also admitted to sharing the prescription medications with his wife and her mother Sharon on occasion, and that Murphy used the painkiller Vicoprofen to subdue menstrual cramps.
