Country singer Mindy McCready, 33, is in the hospital after a failed suicide attempt, TMZ.com reports.
It was McCready’s brother who discovered that the singer had taken pills and sliced her writs Wednesday. Police and paramedics were called to the scene and McCready was immediately transported to the hospital.
She is now in stable condition.
This is not the first time the troubled singer has attempted to take her own life. In 2005 she was hospitalized after swallowing a nearly fatal dose of pills with wine.
