It has been said that there are three sides to every story. Each person’s side, and then the truth. New York Daily News is reporting Miley Cyrus’ side, specifically her rebuttal to the claims that she engaged in a lesbian kiss onstage during her performance on Britain’s Got Talent.”
The controversial move was made halfway through her song “Can’t Be Tamed.” She dipped a female dancer and simulated a kiss. Granted, she may have not actually landed a kiss but she simulated it. Sure, there is a technical difference but the spirit was the same. She wanted the audience to imagine her kissing her. It’s for this very reason that it is quite shocking to us that Cyrus is acting so surprised and a bit annoyed about the buzz.
Miley recently wrote the following on her blog… “During my performance I supposedly ‘KISSED A GIRL’ and this is the newest thing to cause controversy.” “I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers cant even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story.””I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong.” Cyrus was less tender with the media, who she blames for blowing the UK gig out of proportion. “GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD,” Cyrus wrote. “Lets start focusing a little less on making up ignorant rumors and focus a little more on world peace!”
