Mike Myers and his wife Kelly Tisdale have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy. The little boy who they have named Spike, was actually born two weeks ago but the couple are intensively private and the news has only just been confirmed.
Myers and Kelly married late last year in New York after dating for several years. Kelly who is a co-founder of the Manhattan hipster cafe Teany was pregnant when they announced their marriage.
“He is healthy and his parents are ecstatic,” Myers’ rep said in a statement.
No other details about the birth have yet been made public.
Myers is probably most recognized for his role as Austin Powers but his first big movie hit was with Wayne’s World. It was recently announced that Austin Powers 4 is currently in development. Mike has helped write the script and he recently said that: ‘Things are on track,’ for a 2013 release.
