Bette Midler raised over $35,000 in a single Las Vegas concert for the Haiti earthquake appeal.

She collected donations from the audience during her ‘The Showgirl Must Go On’ gig on January 16, promising to match whatever was given to her

Fans raised more than $19,000 which she increased to $38,742 in a dollar for dollar match before performing the song ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’. Midler will make similar donations at every performance until her two-year Las Vegas stint ends on January 31.  Go see the show and do your part to support the Haiti victims while you’re in Vegas.
