Mick Jagger in Assassination Plot by Hells Angels

Mick Jagger in Assassination Plot by Hells Angels

During a free concert organized by The Rolling Stones in 1969 at Altamont Speedway in Northern California, an 18-year-old fan was stabbed and kicked to death by the concert bouncers.

According to reports, the notorious bike gang Hells Angels were in charge of handling the concert security. After the tragic incident Mick Jagger vowed not to use Hells Angels members anymore as bouncers for upcoming concerts.

In return, according to The Sunday Telegraph, the gang members hatched a plan to kill Mick Jagger at his holiday home in Long Island, New York. They planned to attack Jagger from sea so they could sneak into the backside of his property without being detected by the front side security. However, their boat was hit by a storm when they were out on sea and all of the men were thrown overboard. All of the men survived, but they made no other attempts on Jagger’s life.

Mick Jagger has never gotten the information about his assassination attempt and Hells Angels have always denied any connection with the Altamont Speedway killing.
