Former Spice Girl, Melanie Brown, has given birth to a baby girl last night in a Los Angeles hospital. Brown took to Twitter as soon as she was able to let her fans know the news, she wrote;
“Finally our baby arrives,Stephen nearly passed out,Phoenix screamed,I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!”
Brown then added after thanking well-wishers;
“I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!”
Earlier in the week brown wrote;
“The baby will come when it’s good and ready, so for now [I’m] working as usual to keep my mind off being overdue!”
This is the first child for Brown and husband, film producer Stephen Belafonte. There’s no news yet on what they will call her, reportedly they have not decided just yet. Mel is already a mother to two daughters; 12-year-old Phoenix and 3-year-old Angel Iris. And Stephen has a 6-year-old daughter, Giselle from a previous relationship.
Brown won’t be taking much time off from work as she is set to be a judge on Australia’s version of The X Factor this September.
